Building Project
In honour of the 150th anniversary of the Milverton Fair in 2013,
the Milverton Agricultural Society has removed all four of the
existing out-dated green buildings that were in various locations
across the 20 acre parcel. We have begun to replace them with this
new multi-use agricultural building located centrally on the Milverton
Fairgrounds. Plans first began in April 2008 and in 2010 progress
began to take shape. The building is located north of the permanent
washrooms and south of the Rodeo Ring. The building measures 120
feet by 65 feet with a new grass paddock measuring 120 feet x 80
feet to the west of the building.
The theme of the new building project is "Honouring
the Past, Preparing for the Future."
The new building will be home to the
following annual events:
- Milverton Rodeo
- Milverton Fair
- Milverton Horse Shows
- Milverton 4-H Beef Club Achievement Day
- Milverton Tractor Pulls
When the building is not being used for seasonal events, it will
be used for winter storage for cars, boats, trailers
and RV's.
